    3. Jacob Arney Father of Christian Arney, born in York County, Pennsylvania in 1750. Jacob Arney Moved his family from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 1767. Jacob Arney Father of Peter Arney, born in Tryon County, North Carolina in 1772. Jacob Arney Died in Lincoln County, North Carolina in 1784. Jacob Arney Was NOT the son of Frederick Ernigh, who arrived in the United States September 11th, 1732. We KNOW who Jacob Arney was NOT, now we want to know: "Who was Jacob Arney?" (Who were his siblings, who were his parents, where did he and they come from, and where did the rest of them go?) Why did Jacob Arney decide to move his family from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 1767? Just because Jacob moved his family to North Carolina, that does NOT mean that any of the rest of his family (his siblings or parents) moved to North Carolina with him. Did any of his family follow him to North Carolina? Had his parents already pass away by the time he moved? One of his brothers was Conrad, he stayed in Pennsylvania.
