Edna Margaret Gunter Crouch was the daughter of William W. Gunter (b. 1/2/1890, d. 8/27/1918) and Mary Junie Amonett (b. 6/26/1893, d. 2/8/1926) -- both buried at Guntertown Cemetery, Pickett County, TN. Her husband was Osborn Eugene Crouch (b. 8/21/1912, d. 9/29/1981), son of William Lee (Willie) Crouch and Ollie Lottie Storie. He is also buried at Beaty Cemetery in Pickett County. On her obituary it mentions the couple who raised her -- Pierce and Katherine Smith. I believe this was Pearson (Pierce) Smith (b. 9/18/1860) and his second wife, Catherine Hancock Smith (b. 3/22/1866) -- both buried at Beaty Cemetery in Pickett County. Pierce Smith's first wife was Mary Elizabeth Gunter (b. 5/1868,d. 11/17/1905), who was a half-sister to Edna Margaret Gunter Crouch's father.
