Hi Ken, Welcome to the list. Was your dad by any chance Warren Writtenhouse whose wife taught in the Muncie schools? If so, I remember meeting you when you were a little boy. I used to live in Muncie. I also have a Garrett ancestor, Juda Garrett. She married Geo. W. Smith. She was born about 1823. Their children were John Booher, Abraham, Eliga, Mary Ann, Margaret, James Franklin (my gggrandpa), and Lady Ann (Rodia). Geo. W. Smith was a civilian casualty of the Civil War. Do you have any info on this family?
