Curtis Noel Rich's father, Sherwood (or Shelby) H. Rich, was the son of Calvin Rich and Margaret Angel. His parents, Sherwood (or Shelby) H. Rich and Sarah Cornelia Easterly, are both buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Pickett County, TN. Born on July 6, 1920 at Pickett County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Sheb & Sally (Easterly) Rich. He retired from General Motors after working 30 years as a press operator. Curtis was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church at Camden, Ohio. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Preceded in death by his wife: Hortense (Robbins) Rich in 1996; son: Charles “Buddy” Rich; brothers: Audie Rich, Ruben Rich, Everett Rich, John Rich, and George Rich; sisters: Francis Resse, Connie Robbins, and Nellie Gay. Survived by his sons & daughter-in-laws: Kerby E. & Deline Rich of Clay City, Kentucky, Ernest & LuAnn Rich of Hamilton, Ohio, Donald Rich of Middletown, Ohio, Eugene & Teresa Rich of Eaton, Ohio, and Stanley Rich; daughters & sons-in-law: Barbara Lotti of Ashville, North Carolina, Jean & Gene Scott of Liecester, North Carolina, Patricia Shiverdecker of Eaton, Ohio, and Janet & Lonnie Davidson of Middletown, Ohio; 28 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; various nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 15, 2007 - 12:00 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church - 35 North Liberty Street - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Greg F. Jackson officiating. Interment will be held in Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 15, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church.
