Edgar L. Koger, 93 MUNCIE - Edgar L. Koger, 93, passed away, Monday March 20, 2006, at his residence in Muncie following an extended illness. He was born in Mitchell, grew up in Yorktown, and lived in Delaware County most of his life. At one time he was employed at Sheperd's Manufacturing and American Lawnmower. Mr. Koger was an avid fisherman. Surviving are his son, Max R. Koger, Muncie; his daughter, Kay Koger Isenburg, (husband, John), Muncie; seven step-children, Bobby Case, Dickie Case, Doris Buck, Bonnie Wilcox, Pete Case, Murle Case and Raymond Case; nine grandchildren, Jack Koger, Diane Koger, Tony Koger, Valerie Koger, Rosie Carpenter, Sheila Morgan, April Brooks, Jonathan Isenburg and Mark Isenburg; nine great grandchildren, Dustin Carpenter, Abigail Harris, Arron Harris, Lisa Koger, Eric Koger, Ashley Koger, and Jacob Brooks, Michael Isenburg and Zachary Isenburg; his great great granddaughter, Kitty Koger; two half-brothers, Joe Johnson and Marion Johnson; his half-sister, Ermia Weekley; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wives, Grace and Billie Koger; his son, Bobby Koger; his step-son, Jimmy Case; his mother, Sophia Merkle Koger Johnson; his father, G. B. Koger, his step-father, Mose Johnson; two brothers, Carl and Bill; and three sisters, Irene, Mary and Annie. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2006 in Parson Mortuary with Rev. Koger was the son of Greenberry Koger (b. May 1873 in TN, d. 1916 in Orange County, IN) and Sophia Ellen Merkel. Greenberry Koger was the son of William M. (Bill) Koger (b. February 19, 1849) and Mary Ann (Ann) Crouch (b. October 15, 1855), both of whom are buried at Ab Davidson Cemetery, Pickett County, TN.
