This is what I got out of her Bible. Lowell Webster Campbell born in Kentucky Aug. 31,1897. Fathers name is John Campbell and mothers name Ellen Schultz. I also have grandpas memorial services card. He died in Decatur, Il., Macon Co. on September 7, 1975. I also have the newspaper ad from his obituary. It reads as follows: Campbell- Lowell W. Campbell 78, of Mt. Auburn died 3:10 p.m. Sunday in St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Auburn, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial was in Grove City Cemetery, near Mt. Auburn. Mr. Campbell was born in Kentucky, a son of John and Ellen Campbell. He married Chlora Clayburn in 1937. Surviving are his wife; daughter Mrs. Arkley (Beulah) Bilbrey of Illiopolis; sons Johnnie O. of Muncie, Ind.; Hollis L. of Parker, Ind.;Cordell H. of Muncie, Ind.; Daniel R. of Blue Mound; sister Mrs Burcie McGenzie of Georgetow; brother Ira of Muncie, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death. I have been on the web looking for a John Campbell, and there are far too many so I asked my sister to get grandpas birth certificate and death certificate from Daniel. Will let you know if there is any middle initial for John, and if there is anything else we can go by. If you get any information let me know. I will do the same. Your cousin, Alice
