    3. I have UNKNOWN Kearney married Minta "Minnie" Pile. Minnie b. abt 1876. They had three children (at least): Obe Kearney Ruby Kearney Dora Kearney m. Gifford Davidson. UNKNOWN Kearney and Minta "Minnie" Pile Kearney lived on Holbert Creek in a log house on the north side of 127 just below the series of curves where Whittenburgs lived. Minta Pile was the daughter of Jefferson Pile and Elizabeth Flowers. I'm pretty sure that the old log house was built by Jefferson Pile or was bought with about 20 acres of land from Zilpha Holbert Beaty. Have copy of deed, but not sure if it included the house or not. Sadly, this house has been torn down, but was standing until the nineteen sixties, and was owned by Gifford and Dora Kearney Davidson. This land was owned by Manson Flowers (Elizabeth's father) prior to and during the civil war.
