My greatgrandmother was Sarah Riley Grooms of TN b 1820 probably in the Overton/Pickett area and later Fentress Co. I believe her to be the daughter of William and Mary Riley as they bought land from William in 1847. William's mother was Nancy Evans Riley, daughter of Thomas and Jane Howerton Evans. Many of the surnames you mention can be found in marriages in the Riley/Evans lines. After William's death in 1851, Mary lived with daughter Margaret and Isham Huckaby.
