    2. Olive Evelene Kerney Davidson's husband Joe Denton Davidson was the son of James W. Davidson and Alice Poore -- both buried at Williams' Chapel Cemetery, Pickett County, TN. Her mother, Synthia Jane Davison Rigney Kerney was the daughter of Elizabeth J. Williams (b. abt.1833, TN) and Thomas Davison (b. abt. 1832 in England) -- (see 1870 and 1880 Clinton County, KY Census). Her first husband was Wyatt Rigney (see 1900 and 1910 Clinton County, KY Census), then she married Wesley Pierson Kerney. Her father, Wesley Pierson Kerney (buried at Edgefield Cemetery in Pickett County) also had children with Sibba Elizabeth Davidson (b. abt. 1852), Susan Dowdy (b. September 06, 1853), Margaret Jane Harmon (b. 1/1862 -- who he married), and then Synthia Jane Davison (who he married -- see 1920 Pickett County, TN Census). Her half-brother, Wesley Dowdy (b. 11/14/1888) (son of Susan Dowdy and Wesley Pierson Kerney) married her half-sister, Bertha Rigney (b. 3/1898) (daughter of Wyatt Rigney and Synthia Davison). ---------------------------------------------------------- Olive Evelene Davidson, 92 ECONOMY - Olive Evelene Davidson, 92, passed away, after a long illness, early Wednesday morning, January 31, 2007, at the Americare Living Center in New Castle, Indiana with family by her side. Olive was born in Chaute, Tennessee on September 14, 1914, the daughter of Wesley Pierson Kerney and Synthia Jane Davison Rigney Kerney. She moved to Indiana in 1941 and had resided in Economy for more than 40 years. She leaves two sons, James Stanley Davidson of New Lisbon, IN and Ivan Lloyd Davidson of New Castle, IN; three daughters, Margaret Elizabeth Ross (Roy) of Waskom, TX, Barbara Jean Emery (Dorvin) of Askov, MN and Alice Faye Davidson of Economy, IN; six grandsons; five granddaughters; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Denton Davidson on December 17, 1990; 2 sons, Homer Lawrence and Billy Joe; a great-grandson, Clayton Harlow; two brothers, Barney Delmar Kerney and John Elim Kerney; two half brothers, Wesley Dowdy and Jim Porter; two half sisters, Bertha Rigney Dowdy and Sallie Rigney South; several other half brothers and sisters. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2007 in Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Rev. Max Knight will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2007 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 9135 N. Meridian St., Ste. B-4, Indianapolis, IN 46209-7109.
