I would like to thank everyone who replied to my request for information. After visiting the Tennessee State Library and Archives site, I can see there is absolutely no Pickett County marriage information available for the time period that I need!! I guess I'll have to be satisfied with the only information that I have -- "they were married about 1882 in Pickett County Tennessee" -- and be happy that I know at least that much about my grandparents marital status!!! You may try Overton County records. Pickett County was formed from Overton and Fentress countys in 1879.
