He died a number of years ago. His wife Vida(sp?) is still living near Jamestown. I met her and one of her sons at a funeral there a few years ago. He had some interesting stories to tell about the Garrett line (mine and his mothers). I don't know her address or telephone number, but I suspect it is listed in the Jamestown section of the phone book. If you do call her you can tell her I suggested it.
