I have found him in the 1930 Pickett Co. Census in Civil Dist. 5, Enumeration district 7. His name is William George Allen Pryor and is listed as George Pryor on the 1930 census. My grandma remembers the farm was "in the valley", near a little stream. I am taking a trip to Pickett County and am hoping at least to photograph the right general area. Could anyone shed some light on what mountains are around the Byrdstown area? Thanks!
