Her father and his father were brothers - although I don't remember her father's name. She raised my father - one of her daughters died when my dad was 18 months old - she married Edward Tompkins. Their daughter, Louise, married Ewell Bridges and they had my dad, Charles Bridges. My name is Lori Osborne. This makes Cordell Hull my 4th cousin, I believe. Another interesting note -- Edward Tompkins' father - Nate - sold bottom land in Tennessee to Sgt. Alvin York. My dad met Sgt. York when he (my dad) was very young.
