Jean, you might ask for a lookup for Joseph Ezekiel Gilpatrick's sister's death certificate. She was Nannie Jane Gilpatrick Smith Collins (b. October 15, 1861, d. April 22, 1934, buried at Flat Creek Cemetery, Overton County, TN). She married James Smith and C. Willis (Willis) Collins. Since she died in 1934, there may be a death certificate available for her. Below is the information that was Overton County News archives website where they show history from 70 years ago each week (_http://www.overtoncountynews.com/archives2004/history04-28-2004.html_ (http://www.overtoncountynews.com/archives2004/history04-28-2004.html) ) Mrs. Nannie Gilpatrick Collins, 74, wife of C. Willis Collins, died at her home two miles south of Livingston, Monday, as the result of a fall about six years ago. She had not been able to walk for a broken hip and had suffered too much, her condition growing worse for the past several months. She was an excellent woman, a faithful member of the Church of Christ since her girlhood, a kind, helpful neighbor, affectionate companion, and a kind mother. Her maiden name was Nannie Gilpatrick and she was born and reared near Livingston and spent her life in this county. She was twice married, first to James Smith, about fifty years ago. Her first husband having died many years ago, she subsequently married C. Willis Collins on February 10, 1889, and he survives. To this union were born two children, Walter Collins and Pearl, wife of Erby Ledbetter, of Coal Creek, who with a number of grandchildren, survive her. She is also survived by Mrs. Elizabeth G. Ogletree, widow of the late W. Campbell Ogletree. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at the residence and at the Flatt Creek cemetery by Albert V. Watkins, of the Church of Christ. Burial was in the Flatt Creek cemetery. You may also check the death certificate for this sister, Mary Elizabeth Gilpatrick Ogletree (b. November 02, 1852, d. January 02, 1936, buried at Reason Ogletree Cemetery, Overton County, TN) she married William Campbell Ogletree. Since both of these sisters died in the 1930s, their mother's name should be on the death certificate. I have her first name from the census record, but do not have their mother's maiden name.
