They eloped from Wayne County KY the week of November 19th, 1919. They "went to Tennesee" is all the information I have. There was a marriage license in my ggm's Bible but it has gone missing. KY census adn when he firs appeared in the Overton/Clay Coutny TN census....you see Russel County Ky was formed in 1826 from Cumberland County KY and Clay County TN was formed from Overton Co. TN in about 1878, after civil war. =============his data follows =============== I find William Wilborn in the 1840 Russell Co census for the last time. I find them next in the 1860 Overton Co census William Wilborn 56 Ky Elizabeth 52 Ky Robert 21 Ky Doshu 19 Ky (female) Pleasant 19 Ky. Looks like they must have lived in Ky until after 1840 wonder where they were in 1850 census??????
