    3. Howard, I'll try to get the information together that I would like included in the next update of the veterans book and get it to you before you do the reprint. Do you spend much time over at the library? If so, maybe I'll run up on you someday down there. I live in Fentress County now - west of Jamestown on Highway 52 (Livingston Highway). Been here for a little over seven years now. Burial was in Grove City Cemetery, near Mt. Auburn. Mr. Campbell was born in Kentucky, a son of John and Ellen Campbell. He married Chlora Clayburn in 1937. Surviving are his wife; daughter Mrs. Arkley (Beulah) Bilbrey of Illiopolis; sons Johnnie O. of Muncie, Ind.; Hollis L. of Parker, Ind.;Cordell H. of Muncie, Ind.; Daniel R. of Blue Mound; sister Mrs Burcie McGenzie of Georgetow; brother Ira of Muncie, Ind.; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death. I have been on the web looking for a John Campbell, and there are far too many so I asked my sister to get grandpas birth certificate and death certificate from Daniel. Will let you know if there is any middle initial for John, and if there is anything else we can go by. If you get any information let me know. I will do the same. Your cousin, Alice

    2. Hi all. I haven't heard alot spoken yet about this year's Fentress County Round-Up, so here is a small reminder. The 2005 Fentress County Round Up will be on April 16th, 2005. The Round Up starts at 9:00 am at the York Institute in Jamestown, TN. The subject is the districts of Fentress Co mainly in 1860 but covering other time periods also, district by district. Genealogy from each district, business back then where churches. Every year there are lots of genealogy and lots of people selling genealogy material at the Round-Up.
