Hello all, I've just joined the list. My grandmother was born on Coon Creek in Perry County. Her maiden name was McDonald. Other Perry County names in my direct ancestry are Barber, Dabbs and Dotson (Dodson). Also does anyone know when the McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald was founded. I believe that owners of this home are relatives of mine. I also understand that there are books that have records from the funeral homes in them. What time periods does this cover?
