I am trying to find out about 3rd great grandmother, Elizabeth Ferrell and her daughter, Elizabeth Ferrell.  I have her listed as being Elizabeth Jane Sullivan prior to her marriage? Is this correct and any proof? My 3rd great grandmother was born April 7, 1806 in North Carolina and died after the 1880 census. She was listed in 1880 as living in Overton County. Does anyone know when she may have died and where she was buried? Would there be an obituary for her? Daughter, Elizabeth was born about 1839 and I have heard that she died in 1891? Does anyone know anything about her? Where was she buried? Any help on these Ferrell's would be wonderful. James Elias Ferrell was born June 20, 1802 in Tennessee and died in Overton County in 1856. I am a descendant of their daughter, Permelia Caroline Ferrell who was born June 17, 1840 in Tennessee, married William Anderson Gunnels about 1858 in Overton County and died March 11, 1918 in Causey, Roosevelt County, New Mexico.  William Anderson Gunnels was born between 1838 and 1840 in Overton County.
