! will have to go back and check on the names of their children. there were 11-12 of them who were all named when the estate was settled. The mom lived out her life with one of their children.. Can you tell it has been a while since I worked on this line lineage? Josiah B. and Mahulda were married in the home of her father. I think they had actually getting ready for the trip to MO when her father died, hence the Monroe Co Census. Some of her Smith family also moved to MO. Dade County ( Springfield area) and went back and forth between TN and MO. I also know some one in that Smith family was a Methodist preacher circuit rider ministry. in Miss. ( I could be wrong that it was Methodist, but that is how I recall it right now.) If any one wants that data let me know and I will dig it out. and give tot you with the sources: Rose C I just never could figure out where William Smith parents were. The Holman & Pinchbeck families came from Rowan County NO.C. ca 1810 to middle TN. several brothers who had married sisters (Pinchbeck) I even searched there but could not see anything that connected this Wm to them. Any ideas? In the earlier census for Overton/ Jackson county there are several Smith families. I have no idea if there is a family connection or not.
