Rose, My William was married to Rebekah Crosby from Greene Co.,TN. I have no idea where he was from. Their daughter was Katherine Mariah Smith who married Wiley James Reed. Katherine die in 1904 in Putnam co. Wiley James Reed d. one month after returning to regroup the inf. in civil was 2/19/1862.
