Yes, his name was Felix Hickman Bilbrey. He was born 10 Aug 1841 in Cookeville, Overton Co., TN. I have a picture of him that was taken when he was 20 years old in 1861, in his Private's Confederate (gray) uniform there in Overton Co., TN. Both of his daughters have his nice long nose and his long slender fingers. One of those daughters was Elnora Bilbrey that the family called Nora. The other was Jennie Lee Bilbrey, who was my grandmother. She was an accomplished pianist who had studied at the St. Louis School of Music. She was able to play anything you could hum or she could remember without any music to read. Binom Bilbrey was my grandmother's grandfather and the father of Felix Hickman Bilbrey. Felix married Mary Ann Gulley and they moved to IL. He studied to be a Dr. and came down with TB. He had to quit his medical studies but he worked in a drug store to help support his family. Later, when he got over being so sick, he went back to study medicine in TN. My father told me he got his medical degree from Vanderbuilt Medical School. My father had his medical degree for a long time but it got lost in a move we made. Ruth Kinney Townsley
