I have heard of Curry's Chapel, but I can't say I have ever been there. I know Duncan Chapel and Allen Chapel in that area. I have in my notes that Lester Flatt came from White County on October 31, 1930 to visit a brother in Overton County. That came from the Livingston Enterprise of that date. Gary, Lester's oldest brother Andrew Jackson Flatt lived in Overton Co, so that was who he had gone to see.
