    2. Thanks Gary I am on the Cumberland and Clinton Cty lists. I seem to be stuck on the Dulworths. She was a second wife to one of my Capps. I joined Overton hoping to find out more about my "Shoopman" grandparents. I have gotten to William Shoopman & Elizabeth Jeffers and the trail ends there. I also have a gr grandmother that seems to have dropped from the sky! Catherine Elizabeth Parrish -m- James Riley Hagan. I know she exists because I have a picture, but she is NOWHERE to be found. They had my grandmother in Clinton County. She is buried in Cumberland County.....but where she came from is beyond me. I have been searching for HER for six years now. They called her "Kitty". I found on one census report a Kitty (right age) in the home of Isaac & Mary Parrish.....but then they disappeared too! Thanks for your help.

    3. Our oldest Shoopman in Clinton County is a John Shoopman who was born in 1837. He fought in the Civil War. I could not match up any of the other names. Try Russell County to the north of us. Good luck. Let me know if I can be of any help in the future. I tried! Gary D.
