Dear Susie, Hello, I have seen several message boards discussing The Master Genealogist. My question is this: I have Family Tree Maker and ALL my family information has been put in there. If I switch to The Master Genealogist, will I have to input all my information a piece at a time into the program or is there a way to import the information from one program to another? Melissa I believe that you can use GEDCOM to transfer the information from one program to another. I transferred from Family Tree Maker to Personal Ancestral File with very few problems when I had just started my research. I find that Personal Ancestral File (PAF) is one of the easiest genealogy software programs to use and there are so many add ons for special effects available. Ruth
