Here is a link for lou to the Family Tree DNA site. Some thigs you may want to consider: How many markers do you want tested. You can get 12, 25, 37,42 or 67. I recommend the 37 marker test. 12 is less expensive but it is only a come-on and you will need more eventually. DNA will not tell you what coutry your ancestos came from, but I suspect you know that. It will not tell you very much directly, it is throught analysis and comparison with other DNA samples of the same and different family names that most of the information is derived. If there is no existing surname DNA page for your family there will be none to comare with. But you do have the opportunity to sart a DNA page for that family name. You can go to www.ysearch.org and search by surname and see if there is another site that had SWALLOWS dna. If there is another site you may want to use a different testinf lab and post to the existing board. Here is the Family Tree Link for you; http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/c/conner/index.html this happens to be my family line link: Click at the top under RECRUITMENT and you will find a place to order a kit if you elect to use Family Tree: ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray & Debbie Lowman" <lowman84@mvn.net> To: <TNOVERTO@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 11, 2007 9:25 AM Subject: [TNOVERTO] SWALLOW Y-DNA testing > Has anyone had the Y-DNA testing done on the SWALLOW(S) line?
