There are some Wests in the Greenville Tn area from the late 1800's. I can't tell you who they are, because it is a blank for me right now. My Grandmother Hensley was a West. Her Mother married my Grandmothers Mother; they both had children. My Grandmother and Grandfather Hensley grew up in the same household together and then married. I think. Ken
In the coastal areas of North and South Carolina there are several West families before and after the Revolutionary War. Elizabeth City, Bladen County, NC West family has TN connections. This family and the Bertie County area west family may be related. I am not a West researcher, but have researched in those particular areas and found the West data intermingled in the data there.
