    3. I have pretty good records of Elijah from 1850 on, it's prior to 1850 census, there's almost nothing. The 1860 census lists several other Browns in neighboring households. I'm got a pretty good hunch that he may be related to some of them, but I have nothing to connect him to any of them. This is the drawback to having such a plain vanilla name.
