    1. [TNOVERTO] Overton County Court Minutes (will do lookups)

    3. Hi all. Just like the Overton County first deed book, which I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I have just finished with the Overton County Court Minutes, 1815-1824. I photographed every page of this book several months ago, and have imported the images into an adobe acrobat file. Today, I finished creating a “clickable”, every name index for it. The book was almost 500 pages. It is full of great court cases, such as divorces, thefts, murders, disputes over land, disputes over estates, etc. Tons of great info. Since Fentress and Pickett counties were both a part of Overton during this time period, I have sent this to those lists as well as the Overton Co. list. I will do some lookups for folks. I would ask that you please provide a first and last name of the person, or person you would like me to check for. If found, I will provide you with some basic information as to what their mention is in the record, whether a juror, or involved in a case. I will also make this book available for purchase, on cd for those interested. Please send all lookup requests directly to me at HYPERLINK "mailto:rex@digginbones.com"rex@digginbones.com . Put “Overton Co. Court Minutes” in the subject line. Rex Bertram 132 S. Butler St. Redkey, IN 47373 -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
