Try Rome for the spelling. There are some Romes on Family Search born in TN. but living in Mo. I typed in Job Rome and they came up. Probably not what you are looking for, but maybe a clue. The 1860 census has a Roam family with an Elizabeth at 3 yrs. old if I rem correctly. Go to the Overton Co. page and the 1860 census link. Page 281B, househould 548.
