Gary- Thanks for the response to my earlier query. I looked in your book of Overton cemeteries and did not find info on Nelson Davis' son Joseph. Could not find Joseph in the 1880 census. Nelson was born 1806/07 and his wife Ruth 1820/21 based upon census data and Joseph was 1835/36 based upon 1850 census. Joseph was not with family in 1860 or 1870 census. Ruth was daughter of Joseph Hawkins Windle/ Joanna Goad Sevier (dau of Gov. John Sevier). You wouldn't happen to have any data on Joseph Davis would you. I don't know if he died or moved out of Overton Co. prior to 1860 census. Rex Phillips - Dallas ( I mistyped it as Rec in earlier query). Thnx a lot for the help.
