OK, thanks. I believe John Ray who died in 1910 to be the -father- of Rufus Ray, so I'm not sure this helps me...or maybe it does. Millie already married a man who was age 61 when she was 22, so it doesn't stretch my imagination at all to think she may have married John Ray age 49 when she was age 29. The fact that she named a son John supports this theory. I think I'll go with this! Thanks again, H.
