I was told the two women were the ones who had the children out of wedlock. They lived on the "banch" around the mountain between Raven Cliff and Highland. The cemetery had about 8-10 graves in it and was on the east side of the road in some small trees. I do not have facts to prove the point, but I do believe these were the two women who went atop Raven Cliff and brought back the 4 dead Confederates there. I would say that it was Jamima and Rachel They were sisters. It could have been Ruth. She was either Jamima daughter are she might have been Mahala's If she was , Mahala was only 14 when she was born. There was some more that had children that never married. Some had children before they married. Which two Swallows women lived together? Grandpa talked like there were two that lived together. There use to be a ghost that lived in the lumber taken from their cabin. The lumber was stacked for keeping near the Martin Luther French cabin. Many people said they saw the "haint" that jumped atop the stack of lumber.
