I am searching for any information about the family of Thomas Maxwell, b. 1790 in North Carolina who settled in Overton Country about 1810 and lived to be about 80. Anything about his family and descendents would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have some Maxwell family in my line through marriage to the Bryants. They settled in Cookeville, Putnam Co., Tenn. No Thomas. I did look in my Overton County cemetery book and there is a T.M. Maxwell born 16 april 1862 and died 25 June 1882 but he died in Nashville and is buried in the Maxwell Cemetery. Under his name is a Thomas Maxwell but no dates. It only says husband of Lettie Carmarck buried in the Wilson cemetery. Hope that helps. If you want me look anything else up in the book just let me know.
