HELP! I am searching for information on Elizabeth Williams, born about 1814-1816 in Marshall Co. Tennessee. She was the first wife of Jerimiah W. Hendrix (his 2nd wife was Martha A. Lincoln). Elizabeth and Jerimiah had 6 children; twins Thomas N. and William J., Mary, twins Francis M. and George W., and Isabelle. (Thomas N. was my great-great Grandfather). I am looking for information on Elizabeth's parents and ancestors. She died in 1855, shortly after Isabelle was born. My Great Grandmother's memoirs state that Elizabeth was a Cherokee Indian, but I come up empty-handed everywhere I look for documentation on her existence and lineage. THANKS!
