Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Lawrence Tittle and Arnold Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Nathan Owens, Michael Owens, Brian Owens, Steve Alexander, Hale Montgomery and Bobby Hutchison. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Men's Sunday School Class at Star of Bethlehem Assembly of God. He was born Jan. 7, 1917, in Wynnburg, son of the late W.J. and Zoddie (Bailey) Holland. He married the former Mildred Thomas Dec. 28, 1942, and she survives. He was a retired employee of Evans Products in Plymouth, Mich., and he was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Star of Bethlehem Assembly of God in the Possum Trot community and was a member of Garden City Masonic Lodge in Michigan. He was a 32nd degree Mason and was a Shriner. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Milton Owens of Troy; five grandchildren, Nathan Owens, Michael Owens and Brian Owens, all of Troy, and Lisa Totten of Las Vegas and Derrick Holland of Birmingham; and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Holland, and four brothers and a sister.
