Some records have her listed as Sarah, but her grave marker lists her as Sallie Barefoot Hill, wife of James Hubbs, b. July 9, 1820, d. Aug. 25, 1894. She is buried in the Shady Grove Cemetery at Shady Grove United Methodist Church near Harris Station in Obion County. She was apparently married to a Mr. Hill before James Hubbs and had two children with him. Any information about her ancestors or her life would be greatly apprectiated. Nancy Small
