Anyone willing to do look-up's in these books for other folks? I am looking for any informtion on a Jesse McINTOSH, b. 1820, KY, who married Melissa J. THOMPSON of Obion County, TN on 9/17/1841, ceremony by Arthur THOMPSON (kin to her?) also shown marrying Mary MALONEY/Mary NOLAN DAVIS in Obion County, TN on 10/16/1850. Surety on both marriages was John THOMPSON. Jesse is shown on the 1850 Fulton County, KY census with no wife but with three children, John B., age 7, b. TN, Mary, age 4, b. KY, and Laura, age 1, b. KY. Melissa has obviously died. So, I assume that he then takes the children back to Tennessee to stay with their maternal grandparents, the THOMPSON's as he turns up in the 1860 Obion County, TN census married to "M" - I'm thinking here Mary, but only John is listed as living with them along with two other children a "J", age 5, and a "M.A." age 3. Obviously Mary and Laura are still with their grandparents as I find at least Laura later on as marrying in Dyer County, TN which is where the family finally ended up. Any help on these THOMPSON and McINTOSH lines would be greatly appreciated. They are my brick wall. As I recall, they are approximately $40.00 each. I purchased my set back in June and, at that time, she had about half a dozen copies left.
