    3. For those interested there is a book "The Seventh Tennessee Cavalry," by J. P. Young - a Private in Company A. It is published by the Morningside Bookshop. The book was first published in Nashville in 1890 and this is a reprint and is available for sale. It has a roster of all companies and quite a few pictures of the men in the companies, officers and privates also. I know the commander of Company A was Lt. Col. William F. Taylor (my ggg grandfather) and was from Obion, near Mt. Pelia. I am not sure where the other men were from, but suspect locally. If anyone else had a relative in the Seventh, please feel free to contact me. William is buried in the Taylor cemetery near Mt. Pelia. Bill PS. this isn't an advertisement. It was the only way I could transfer it on this suddenly cranky computer! Rassafras!!!!
