She was 82. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by White-Ranson Funeral Home. Mrs. Edwards was born on 8/21/1883 in the Freemont community, the daughter of Sam Cherry & Tennessee (Tennie) Killion Cherry. Her husband, Sibert Edwards, died on 5/30/1964. She was a member of the Reelfoot Baptist Church. Mrs. Edwards is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Velma Cunningham of Union City; 2 sons, Lloyd Edwards of Union City, and Joe Edwards of Memphis; 2 sisters, Miss Tina Cherry of Dixie and Mrs. Sammie Anderson of St. Louis, Mo; 5 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Vivian Gray preceded her in death. Note: I had this in my files, and I know some of you are researching the Killion & Cherry families.
