Milam, 82, of Thomas Road in South Fulton died 4:25 a.m. Oct. 6, 2000, at Van Ayer Manor Nursing Home in Martin. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. Chad Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Ruthville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. until the hour of services Sunday. Mrs. Milam was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Graves County, Ky., daughter of the late Herman and Ethel (Skinner) Calhoun. She was the widow of Marion W. Milam and was a long time resident of this area. She was a member of Ruthville Baptist Church and had been employed as a seamstress at the former South Fulton H.I.S. plant. Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ward of South Fulton and Sandra Delcourt of Dyersburg; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Garry Milam, and a brother.
