I am researching the family of Spencer and Sarah Sharp, as follows: copied from Census extract for 1840, Obion County, on Obion County web page. age 152. Spencer Sharp, schedules: 3210002-00201 and acc. to number 0-152, he lived in dist 3, 4, 5, or 8 (western part of county) A short while later the family moved into Weakley County, north of the north fork of the river and east of the meridian. Spencer' and his wife Sarah were married in Madison County, Mo. Her name was Henderson and it is believed her father was Nathaniel Henderson who lived for a time in either Obion or Weakley county. Would appreciate hearing from any Sharp or Henderson researchers. love joan
