    1. [TNOBION] Re: Obion Roll Call
    2. Hello, I am researching the following family: James (Jim) B. WALKER who served as sheriff of Obion Co. from 1867-69. Shown in the 1860 Census, he is living next door to his parents, Robert and "Jencey" WALKER. Although this family says they were born in KY.. James and Selena Jane Westmoreland WALKER were married in Washington Co., IN in 1844. The Robert Walker family was there in Indiana as well. James and Selena are buried in the Calhoun Cemetery and there is some connection to the Calhoun's beyond being neighbors, although I have not yet found it. James and Selena's son Waller Bright WALKER listed in the 1870 Census with this family is my G-Grandfather. This is my personal brick wall.. any help is greatly appreciated. NOTE: Some researchers give the J.B. WALKER family additional sons.. but they are missing in the 1870 census. Karen Moore Waugh 1860 Census, Obion Co. TN 075b. Pg. 271 Troy P.O. 1717. J. B.
