She should be listed in the 1850 census as a child with her parents. There are two ways to look for her. If you're sure she was born in Obion Co., you can check the census just for that county. I don't remember if it was posted on the genweb page, bu if not, maybe 1860 was posted. Or you can check the index for Scott families in Obion Co., and just look them up. The second way is to use the statewide transcription of the 1850 census published by Sistler. It's alphabetical by the name of the head of the household. that may be difficult because of the common surname, but we found our Wilsons that way.
