I am searching for the name of my great grandfather's first wife's name. She was married to John Moore PARK, b. abt. 1808, in Williamson County, TN, and lived most of his life in Lincoln County, TN. He had five children by his first wife, Nancy H. (?) who was b. abt. 1814. Nancy died in around 1850/1852, in Marshall County, TN. She had five children and they all migrated at some time to Obion County, TN. They were: Mary Elizabeth PARK, b. abt. 1834, married to William B. DAVIS. This family is shown on 1870, TN Census, Obion County, TN, w/ four children: Susan DAVIS, Mary DAVIS, John DAVIS, and William DAVIS. Second child of Nancy H. and John Moore PARK: John Moore PARK, Jr., b. 1837, married to Mary E. CAPPS in 1858. They had at least one child, Nancy J. PARK, b. 1858, from 1860 Census, Marshall Co., TN. In 1900 TN Census, Obion County, TN, John M. PARK, a. 63, a widower, is living in the household of his brother-in-law, William COOK. Third child: James Lee PARK, b. abt 1840 in TN. He is shown in Obion County, 1870 Census, w/ wife Mary P., a. 25. This was probably Mary Patterson (maiden name) as her mother, Mat (?) PATTERSON, was living in their household in 1870. This family migrated to Texas and J. L. PARK died in Ellis County, TX, 1914. Fourth child: Eliza Jane PARK, b. 1843, d. Obion Co., 1884, married William M. COOK. They had two children: Mary Elizabeth (Bettie) COOK, and Emma May COOK., b. 1867, d. 1935, Obion County, TN. Mary Eliz. Bettie COOK married James Isaac CALDWELL, and they had seven children. Emma May COOK married Adron O. MC DANIEL, 1893 in Marshall Co., TN, and they had six children. Mary Elizabeth and Emma May both died in Obion County, TN, and I have a lot of information on them. Fifth child: Andrew Jackson PARK, b. 1848, Lincoln County, TN, d. in Dallas County, TX,. 1911. He migrated early to Texas and he had seven children. If anyone has any idea what the maiden name of Nancy H. who married John Moore PARK, and was the mother of the above five children, I would appreciate hearing from you. It would seem reasonable that some of the descendants of the families who remained in Obion County, TN, would have some sort of information on this family. I have worked on this family for several years and cannot find a clue as to her identification. Thanks, Joyce PARK RIGGS
