Thank you for that link! I knew that my husband's ancestor, Ephraim SAMPSON, from Essex County, NY, had supposedly fought during the Revolutionary War, but had no other information. By going to this link I was actually able to find him! He enlisted in September of 1777 at the age of 18 and remained until the following year. I now have all the military information on him - rank, Regiment, Brigade, Division, etc. I would have never thought to have looked for him there. Thank you!
