The Verhines also had connections to my Curlin, Edwards, Kirby, and Whitley families. I have heard my grandmother talk of them. Most of my above mentioned relatives also had connections to Graves County in the Dublin Community. I am sure that you know there are some Verhine headstones out in Shady Grove Cem which is the area where my relatives resided (and lots are buried). Several years ago I came across a Verhine's automotive repair shop in Roswell New Mexico who was from this family.
