On the 1880 Census for Wilson County, I found James Pacey (Posey), aged 40, mechanic, born in TN, married to F.E. Rutledge, aged 30, housekeeping, born in TN. Three children, Haden, Robert (Robert Efton, aka R.E., aka Jake) and my great grandfather, George Malone Posey. George Malone Posey was the husband of Pearl Lorina Palmer. Robert (R.E., Jake) was married to Lucinda Newton, of Obion County, daughter of Lucas (Luke) Newton and Mary Ann Jordan. Lucinda was a niece to John Jordan who was married to Pearl Lorina Palmer's sister, Mary. Haden, Robert and George were orphaned in 1884 and were raised by William H.H. Gatlin and wife who moved to Obion County (date unknown). George, Robert, Lucinda, William H.H. and his wife are all buried at Eastview Cemetery in Union City. I have seen, somewhere, that Haden was married to Etta Carpenter, but unfortunately, I didn't write down the source.
