Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TgB.2ACE/208.210.1 Message Board Post: It is possible that I.G. Harris was the brother of my James M. Harris, because I don't know anything about his family. I have been assuming he was the son of Jackson Harris, found on the 1850 census in Obion Co. with son James age 8, because they lived only a few houses from his wife, Ellen Dowdy. There was not a son Isaac or Green listed. I looked through my research for Isaac Green and only found him on the 1900 Census in Stoddard Co., MO as family #345 -- is this correct? I also found an I.S. Harris (possible spelling error) as a private from Obion Co. in the 47th TN Infrantry CSA Co. H, muster date of May-June 1862 in vicinity of Kenton. When do you think I.G. came to Stoddard Co.? -- My James came about 1880, but is not listed on that Census. I don't have any other information that might connect them.
