Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home chapel in Troy, with Dr. William Sims officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel this evening from 5-7. The family requests that memorials be made to Union City First Baptist Church. He was born May 7, 1907, in Woodland Mills, son of the late Robert and Rena (Hefley) Pruett. He married the former Grace Rebecca Hammond Dec. 4, 1932. She died April 7, 1987. He was a retired barber and had been in that profession for more than 50 years. He was a member of Union City First Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Ann "Becky" Prather of Lexington, Ky.; two grandsons, David Powell of Lawrenceburg, Ky., and Greg Powell of Lexington; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ada Ruth Sanders of Paducah, Ky., and Lourena Cole of Ft.
