They were children of James Carroll Grimes (1867-1919) and wife Maggie Belle Deen Grimes (1873-1911). They were also the grandchildren of Samuel William Grimes (1844-1928) and wife Elizabeth J. Deen (1846-1919) and Leander J. Deen (1850-1921) and wife Martha Ann Roberson Deen (1851-1935). They were all born near Troy, in the Mt. Ararat area. They are still living with their parents in 1910, but in 1920, after the death of their parents, I can no longer locate them. Lula S. Grimes, b. circa 1891 James L. Grimes, b. circa 1898 Robert R. Grimes, b. circa 1905 I believe Robert may be the same Robert Grimes appearing in the photograph of Troy High School, 1919 or 1920 that is posted on this site. Any infomation is greatly appreciated!
